Empower
Empower body, empower mind.
Empower aims to support young people aged 11-12 to manage their psychological wellbeing and physical health to fulfil a happier, healthier lifestyle.
To EMPOWER young people to strengthen their mind, body and social wellbeing in a safe, supportive environment. Weekly sessions will include fun games and physical activity in combination with valuable, interactive wellbeing workshops delivered by our coaches.
Our sessions are structured around two main wellbeing principles: a healthy body (physical activity) and a healthy mind (wellbeing workshops). Physical activity includes a range of multi-sports such as: dodgeball, football and rounders, whilst our wellbeing workshops cover topics such as; anxiety, school and social pressures, forming positive relationships and identifying coping strategies.
We try and make our sessions as interactive as possible to create a fun, engaging and meaningful experience for these young people, including trips outside of term time.
Please note, we offer a maximum of six months support to young people who would benefit from low-level wellbeing support.
