Derby County Community Trust’s popular Weekend Club takes place every Saturday and Sunday providing fun, football skills-based activity for children from pre-Reception (age 3 in the year before school) up to Year 6.
It provides a weekly session working on a range of football skills and drills, including dribbling, passing, receiving, control, running with the ball and much more. Each session will have a dedicated topic area.
The sessions are interactive and work on skills and drills for all abilities in a safe and enjoyable environment. There are chances to play games, make new friends and have fun, all led by our qualified coaching team.
Sessions take place at Powerleague Soccerdome in Derby every week and we are usually oversubscribed so we recommend adding your child’s name to our waiting list if you are interested in joining.
Sessions run each week at the following times:
- Saturday, 9.00-9.45am
- Saturday, 10.00-10.45am

- Sunday, 9.00-9.45am
- Sunday, 10.00-10.45am

All participants should bring their own labelled water bottle and we advise against bringing any valuables to the session.
All children can be left unattended for the full duration of the session as all our coaching staff hold relevant qualifications and Enhanced DBS certificates.

“Amazingly ran course by Derby County Community Trust, the coaches are great and so engaging, calling all children by name. My son was a little apprehensive at first but now he can’t wait to go back every week!”
