Study while you play
Ahead of the 2024/25 season, Derby County will be launching an elite women's 16s - 21s programme which will consist of an Under 18s and Under 21s squad.
The new elite programme will offer a full-time model for 16 to 21 year olds to train and study with Derby County Community Trust.
Players will be able to study full time, studying A Levels or a Level 3 qualification in Sport and progress onto higher education and study a degree, alongside continuing their playing journey.

Players will train four times a week, have access to four strength and conditioning gym sessions per week, along with analysis sessions and the chance to train alongside the Women's first team - with the ultimate aim of accelerating players' progress through to them becoming first team players.
