The ETC is part of our Female Player Pathway which connects our full footballing offer for girls from age five to full-time education at post-16 level.

Aiming to attract footballers aged 7 to 16, the ETC is delivered in 15-week blocks with trials taking place every 15 weeks for new players to join. Training takes place across two venues:

- Derby Football Hub at Racecourse (U8s-U13s) - 17:00 - 18:00

• Tuesday 2^nd September 2025 - For the under 8s,9s and 10s.
• Tuesday 9^th September 2025 - For the under 11s,12s and 13s

- Friesland School (U8-U16)

• Friday 5^th September 2025 - Under 8s,9s, 10s and 11s (17:00-18:00)
• Friday 12^th September 2025 - Under 12s,13s,14s (17:00-18:00) and Under 15s and 16s (18:30-19:30)

Since our ETC launched in September 2022, the programme has been a huge success. We have over 200 female players throughout Derbyshire attending one of our ETC's on a weekly basis, accessing additional training alongside playing for their grassroots club. 

The ETC is part of our Female Talent Pathway at Derby County and has seen over 20 players move into our female academy teams in the past two years alone. 

All players who are part of the ETC will be able to access a full Derby County training kit to wear at the session

Players can play and train for other clubs alongside the Emerging Talent Centre.

The Centres will be underpinned by five key areas:

4.      More focused investment

5.      Providing more appropriate challenges
