Premier League Inspires

Premier League Inspires is a personal development programme, funded by the Premier League and Professional Footballers' Association through the Premier League Charitable Fund.
The programme uses the power of football to inspire young people aged 11-to-18 to develop the personal skills and positive attitudes needed to succeed in life. It is predominantly delivered in secondary schools.
Premier League Inspires empowers participants to develop personal, social, employability and life skills, through a series of regular face-to-face group sessions, mentoring, workshops and social-action projects, providing pupils with the help they need now and supporting them to plan for their future.
Derby County Community Trust began it's Premier League Inspires delivery in September 2022 and since then has supported over 370 young people through our group and 1-2-1 sessions in 14 local schools.
This season, 45 professional football club community organisations across the Premier League and English Football League are delivering Premier League Inspires sessions at their stadiums, in local schools and at alternative educational settings.
More than 30,000 young people from across England and Wales have received more than 130,000 hours of targeted support through the programme to date. To find out more about the national programme, please visit premierleague.com

[There has been] loads of impact and loads of benefits from our students taking part in the [Premier League Inspires] programme. We've seen improvements in students attendance in school and also the behaviour levels as well, they [the pupils] seem to be taking education a little more seriously and putting more effort into it as a result of the mentoring that they are taking part in.
