Our Football and Education sides returned to action today as the 2022/23 CEFA season got under way.

Across seven games the Trust were represented by over 100 learners made up of both first year and second year students from our four sites across Derbyshire and for the first time we had two female sides competing.

On the pitch there were plenty of positives despite a lot of our players never having played together before today. We came away with two wins, three draws and two defeats from our seven fixtures.

Our sides will continue to compete each Wednesday in both CEFA League and Cup fixtures, providing the players with a fantastic football experience alongside their studies.
