Sports Lecturer

DCCT Grade 4: £23,805 - £31,050  (full time equivalent)

Term Time (35 hours per week), with attendance at occasional training and recruitment events in holiday periods (as agreed with manager/programme lead)

Temporary 12 month position

We care about our community; we care about our people.  We are now a Sports Lecturer to join our Education department contributing to the successful planning, delivery and assessment of the Football Education programme within DCCT.  This includes the NCFE Level 2 Sports Coaching and BTEC Level 3 Sports Coaching and Development (extended diploma).

With a relevant teaching qualification and previous experience of delivering BTEC Sports Level 3 (or similar), you will have an excellent understanding of teaching, learning and assessment methods.

You will demonstrate an ability to inspire others, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and have strong interpersonal skills to quickly build trust and positive relationships to support learners in achieving their qualifications.
