We care about our community; we care about our people. We have an exciting opportunity for a Physical Activity & Health Officer (Female Health) to join our Health team focusing on the delivery of our projects that support women and women’s health.
Our values underpin everything we deliver as a charity you will be responsible for modelling these values through yourself and your work. Alignment to our values is key to being successful in this role, along with excellent communication, good IT skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
Using your experience working with women (particularly engaging those deemed as hard to reach) and a demonstrable understanding of menopause and endometriosis (and their impact on women’s health), you will work as part of a team delivering health interventions using motivational interviewing as a key driver to enable changed behaviour.
You will be qualified Mental Health First Aider, ideally with either a level 3 Personal Trainer or GP Referral qualification, and possess an ability to demonstrate an empathetic and person-centred approach with the ability to inspire and motivate women towards behavioural change.
