World Book Day 2021 Competition Winners

Rammie reading

This year, we invited all Derbyshire primary aged pupils to submit a World Book Day story based on Derby County mascots Rammie and Ewie.

The only rules were the story must be no more than 250 words and include adventure!

We thoroughly enjoyed reading all of the stories submitted to us but we had to pick four runners up and one official winner. It was a difficult decision but the winners of this year's World Book Day Competition are as followed:

Runners Up

KS1 Emily aged 4 Bishop Lonsdale school

KS2  Poppy Haden-Tempest Aged 9 Bishop Lonsdale

KS2  Charlotte Burly Aged 11 Brookfield Primary School

KS2 Daniels Vitals Aged 10 Bishop Lonsdale School

Winner

KS2 Noemi Zwawzky Aged 10 Bishop Lonsdale School

Congratulations to our winners!

All winners' stories and many more of our favourites have been compiled in this year's World Book Day Competition publication. Click below to read!
