The Parkinson's National Cup with DCCT
On Saturday 19th April, Derby County Community Trust took a team of participants to take part in the Parkinson's National Cup.
With 24 teams entered, it became the world's largest walking football tournament for people with Parkinson's disease, held at St. George's Park.
Luke Wilkinson, DCCT's Health Team Leader was in attendance, describing the day as..
"A fantastic event to be a part of, we may not have won our games, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We spent the day networking with others who are impacted, along with making friends and connections within the Parkinson's community."
With thanks to recent EFL funding, DCCT are able to expand their services and progress their work in helping to support those who are effected by Parkinson's disease.
