Girls’ Regional Talent Centre trials set for June

Players in action at RTC training

Derby County Community Trust is delighted to confirm trial details ahead of the 2021-22 season, as we seek to recruit talented female footballers from Under 11 to Under 16 level.

Taking place at Derby University across four nights from 14th June, coaches will look to identify a limited number of players to join four age groups, who will then take part in weekly training and regular competitive fixtures against other RTCs and local grassroots teams throughout the 2021-22 season.

Derby County Community Trust hots one of 30 FA Regional Talent Centres and since the inception of the programme, have seen several regional and national call-ups from within the centre.

The programme also has an exclusive player pathway in place, supporting the ongoing development of female footballers in partnership with the Derby County Women’s team, and our own Football and Education programme.

Trials will take place at Derby University, 6-8pm on Monday 14th June (Under 16s), Tuesday 15th June (Under 14s), Wednesday 16th June (Under 12s) and Thursday 17th June (Under 11s) with a limited number of places available within each age category.
