Bladder Health & Pelvic Floor

Pelvic health physiotherapy can play a significant role in managing incontinence by addressing the often-overlooked link between cancer treatment and pelvic floor.
Treatment can lead to overactive or tight pelvic floor muscles, which in turn may contribute to symptoms like pain during intercourse, difficulty emptying the bladder or bowel, and ongoing pelvic discomfort.
During the session, we’ll explore how physiotherapy can support you and share some simple, gentle techniques you can start with—such as diaphragmatic breathing, pelvic floor awareness, and relaxation strategies—to begin reconnecting with your body in a safe, empowering way.
