Football and Education Support The ETC

As part of our Football and Education programme female players, Camille, Ella, Lydia, Eve and Alex have all been volunteering at our Emerging Talent Centre. The opportunity gives them the chance to work along side our full time coaches, develop their own coaching skills and act as positive role models for the younger player on the programme.
Here is what the group had to say about their work with the ETC so far.
Ella: “it’s been really good. I’ve enjoyed helping the young kids get into football and develop their skills. Learning from the coaches here has been really helpful as well.”
Eve: “It’s a really good experience. It’s nothing I’ve ever done before, being here every week learning from the other coaches has made me realise what I want to be when I’m older. It’s helped me realise my interest and passion for coaching.”
Alex: : It’s a good atmosphere and environment to be apart of and it’s really good to learn from the other coaches here as well.”
Camille: “I wanted to do it because I want to do my coaching qualifications and it’s a good experience being around the staff and seeing how things from their perspective. It also helps your own ability at football and your tactical understanding.
Lydia: “We got asked at the start of the season if we wanted to get involved in coaching at the start of the season and it’s something I’d always thought about doing so I thought this was a good opportunity to start my coaching career off.”
