We have another Traineeship programme coming up soon, and you could be following in the footsteps of one our previous Traineeship participants, who now is employed full-time by Derby County Community Trust.

Derby County Community Trust celebrated their second Annual Awards Evening on Thursday 27th September 2018.

The night showcased the huge range of programmes delivered by the Trust and announced several well-deserved winners alongside staff, participants, supporters, sponsors and trustees.

One individual who accepted an award was Education Champion of the Year, Will Mellor, who started as a Traineeship participant.

Will Mellor was recognised for his commitment and drive to progress his education and personal attributes to better his employability.

Will joined the Traineeship course delivered at Derby County Community Trust in early 2018. He worked hard towards gaining essential employability skills and qualification, as well as improving his confidence and self-esteem.

He showed a positive attitude towards every task throughout the ten-week course, and even motivated others within the group. His dedication and commitment resulted in Will being offered a full-time Apprentice Coach position within the Trust after completing his Traineeship course.

Are you aged 16-25 years and looking for a job or a way back into education?
