How did you hear about the course?

Through Kieron Wicks (Education Manager) who taught me at secondary school and got in contact with my school teachers during sixth form to inform me about the course.

What is the course and who is it for?

Learning about the community development within sport, focusing on football. Insights into football administration and running your own project.

Anyone interested in football or anyone with an interest in a career within sport will benefit from the degree.

Favourite part of the course and the support from staff?

Going on residential to Cardiff with your mates, whilst also learning and developing skills.

Staff at DCCT were always contactable and extremely helpful throughout the years. Incredibly supportive and helped keep me organised and on top of my work.

Work placement opportunities?

Working in local secondary and primary schools assisting and putting on sessions for children. Also helping run the secondary school’s football team after school. Another opportunity was to do my FA coaching badges whilst on the course.

What’s next for you?

Hoping to go to America to do three months of football coaching whilst travelling.
