Derby County Football Club has the ability to engage people, raise hopes and aspirations and improve the lives of the people of Derbyshire. As a club, we are committed to ensuring that we respond to local needs while working strategically in line with regional and national agendas.
We recognise that sport plays a prominent role in addressing major issues such as physical inactivity, rising obesity, community cohesion, health inequalities, unemployment and educational attainment and through the diverse range of programmes delivered by Derby County Community Trust, we are having a profound impact on the community we serve.
Our dedicated and professional staff are committed to ensuring that our offer to schools is “best in class”. Our delivery staff, as well as being NGB Level 2 qualified, have all undertaken the AfPE Level 3 qualification and are fully aware and capable of supporting your school’s curriculum and extra-curricular needs.
Derby County Community Trust is proud to host and manage the Derby City School Sport Partnership and this development has not only expanded the provision that we as a Trust can offer to you but also allowed us to bring greater quality assurances and credibility to our core programmes.
DCCT is committed to delivering up to 22 hours of FREE physical activity within all Partner Schools in return for schools accessing paid-for initiatives such as After School Clubs or ongoing PLSS delivery.
