Number of students: 11 plays on pitch, max squad 16 Players. 

The Y7/8 Girls Softball Cricket Festival is a development festival for new players to experience competitive cricket. this will be played with a softball so that schools with cricket pads/helmets etc can join. 

This festival will be supported by Derbyshire Cricket Foundation. Joining them will also be leaders who have been working with the foundation who have been developing their leadership skills and attributes. 

Schools will need to umpire games on the day. 

Length of games will depend on number of schools attending.
