SCORE - Prince's Trust
Gain New Skills
Derby County Community Trust have partnered with the Prince’s Trust to deliver the SCORE (Supporting Career, Opportunities, Recruitment and Employment) project.
The programme aims to support young people into a career in health and social care as there are a number of shortfalls in the industry. The programme looks to introduce candidates to a range of roles beyond clinical and frontline work.
We are working with several employers who will give guaranteed interviews to those who go through the programme, including our Trust Partner Pennine Healthcare.
The programme will deliver CV/application support, and interview technique guidance. Our team will guide you through the process of gaining and maintaining employment in the health and social care sector.
We can also deliver CV clinics and interview support workshops to large groups.
This is a roll on and roll off programme, so immediate starts are available!
Criteria for the programme:
- Aged between 16 and 30
- Currently unemployed or working less than 16 hours per week

There are not many requests that I accept readily but Chairing the Advisory Panel for SCORE was without question one of them.
I have a passion for people growth and a passion for healthcare so to Chair a panel with like minded professionals which combines both I had to accept. Our purpose is very clear which is to support young people in starting and developing a career within the health and social care sector and a career which has improving health at its very core.
In health and social care there so many opportunities and skills required and we are very excited about what we will deliver.
