We are welcoming our Primary Stars from this half term to become flag bearers at the Millwall game on Saturday 14th December! They have all been pupils on our Reading Stars and Matchday Maths programmes which aim to help reluctant readers and those who don’t always enjoy maths to learn from sport and physical activity.

Four pupils have been selected as the Stars of Stars for their brilliant commitment and enthusiasm to learning with the Derby County Community Trust.

They are:

Meredith Cope who attends Aston on Trent Primary School is the Matchday Maths Star for the school. Her favourite part of the Matchday Maths programme was helping others and improving her own knowledge of maths.

Louie Oldham is our Reading Star from Aston on Trent Primary School. His favourite part was the newspaper homework.

Jaydon Lee is our Matchday Maths star from Bishop Lonsdale. His favourite part of the programme was the maths activities and Supermovers dances.
