Monday 27th November saw Derby County players Max Lowe and Jamie Hanson team up with the Derby County Community Trust to take part in a StadFit session at Pride Park Stadium.

StadFit is a 30-minute fitness class delivered within Pride Park Stadium for supporters and members of the public to get active. Exercises such as stair runs, boxing and circuits provide the perfect intensity for participants to get fit over a short period of time.

Derby County players Jamie Hanson and Max Lowe made a special appearance at Monday night’s session, surprising regular participants and getting involved.

Throughout the half an hour session, both Hanson and Lowe took it upon themselves to get involved with the training, help participants and even let their competitive sides show during shuttle runs!

After the session, Derby County Community Trust’s Stephanie Thompson said:

“It’s great to have two players come and support our community sessions. The participants loved having them here and they were both great sports and weren’t afraid to get involved.

“Hopefully by them coming down we can help raise the profile of StadFit and encourage more people to come down and get involved.”

StadFit takes place Monday to Thursday in the South Stand at Pride Park Stadium. Anyone over the age of 18 can take and there is no need to book, you can just turn up!
