We are seeking highly motivated, energetic individuals, to lead teams of sixteen and seventeen-year olds through our four-week summer NCS programme. We are looking for passionate individuals with experience of working with groups of fifteen young people.
The NCS Leader is there to be a positive role model, to coach and motivate a team of up to 15 diverse young people. Your role will require you to support, stretch and maximise the learning for all the participants throughout the NCS Programme.
NCS Leaders will also support all workshop/activity leaders.
We are looking for NCS Leaders with a flexible approach, who can also commit to working with their team of 15 young people for the entire length of the four-week programme. The first two weeks are residential Monday to Friday and the second two weeks are Monday to Friday, 30 hours each week.
Compulsory 2-day training programme
All NCS Leaders will be expected to attend a compulsory 2-day training programme that will be held on: Waves 1-3 Staff – 8th & 9th June Waves 4-6 Staff – 22nd & 23rd June.
All successful candidates will also be required to attend at least one pre-departure meeting before the start of programme.
At the end of the programme team leaders will be expected to attend the graduation ceremony held at Pride Park Stadium.

Wave 1: 24/06/2019 – 19/07/2019 – Graduation Date (12/08/2019)
Wave 2: 01/07/2019 – 26/07/2019 – Graduation Date (14/08/2019)
Wave 3: 08/07/201 – 02/08/2019 – Graduation Date (15/08/2019)
Wave 4: 15/07/2019 – 09/08/2019 – Graduation Date (19/08/2019)
Wave 5: 22/07/2019 – 16/08/2019 – Graduation Date (21/08/2019)
Wave 6: 29/07/2019 – 23/08/2019 – Graduation Date (19/09/2019)
