The Derby County Deaf Girls U16s put on a fantastic performance to bring home the FA Disability Cup for the second year running.

They had already advanced through regional and national rounds before meeting Braidwood School for the Deaf’s U16 team who had also fought off stiff competition to gain a place in the final.

Taking place at St George’s Park, the girls put on a hugely impressive performance to claim the trophy in a 9-0 victory.

Lauren Asquith, Club Development and Disability Officer at the Trust, said:

“It was an absolutely fantastic experience for all involved, the girls put in a great performance and that was apparent by the result.”
