Ikechi Anya and Jayden Bogle made it a holiday coaching session to remember at Powerleague Soccerdome on Monday 19th August.

They joined the kids who have been practicing their football skills throughout the school holidays, and got to ask the two Derby County players their questions about life as a professional player, Derby County, favourite players and stadiums!

Both players answered the host of questions and the participants on the course got to take home their autographs as a momento from the day.

Adam Woolley, Community Coach at Derby County Community Trust, said, “It’s a pleasure to have members of the first team come down and chat to our aspiring footballers about life as a professional. Many of them go to the games every week so for them to meet players first hand is a fantastic experience for them all!”

Derby County Community Trust run holiday coaching courses across every school holiday at six venues across Derbyshire: Powerleague Soccerdome, Derby Arena, Ripley Leisure Centre, Belper Leisure Centre, Springfield Junior School and Friesland School.
