Our programmes

Coaching

Our Coaching programmes are at the heart of what we offer at the Derby County Community Trust. These are the grassroots and talent identification programmes which provide physical activity and coaching to youngsters across Derbyshire.

Schools

Our wide-ranging Schools projects support a number of areas including events, coaching, curriculum teaching, teacher support, physical and mental health and engaging families.

Learning

Education and Employability

Our Education and Employability department provide opportunities for learners of all ages at all levels, from post-16 studies through to degree programmes and employability projects.

NCS

At Derby County Community Trust we welcome teenagers to take part in an unforgettable experience where they learn to be more independent, confident and innovative.

Mental Health

We run a number of mental health projects to support the wellbeing of anybody who may need our help. Our projects range from drop-in sessions for those feeling worries or anxious through to providing sessions for those with diagnosed mental health problems.

Health

Derby County Community Trust’s Health projects are wide-ranging and all aim to tackle a particular health inequality. Different projects focus on various physical and mental health issues and work with individuals from 0 to 100!

Disability

Our long-running Disability projects support individuals with physical disabilities and/or additional needs through pan-disability or impairment specific football sessions.

INCLUSIVE

Community Engagement

Taking delivery to young people on their doorsteps to remove barriers of travel and cost, we want to create a level playing field for children and young people through our Community Engagement sessions.

improving lives and communities

Derby County Community Trust is the charitable arm of Derby County Football Club. We aim to provide opportunities and experiences with the overall aim to improve lives and communities.

We have been in operation since the mid-90s and became an official charity in 2008. We currently run over 40 projects, working with individuals from 0 to 100 years old in over 200 weekly sessions.

Allen's story

Allen joined our Team Talk project with some trepidation after finding out about it on social media. He was struggling with his mental wellbeing, but hadn't spoken to anyone about it.
