Girls Regional Talent Club - U12s Coach

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Derby County Community Trust, as a Regional Talent Club Coach, at U12’s level. The role is an integral coaching position in our club’s female player pathway, and offers the opportunity to have direct impact on the development of our younger female players, while developing their football knowledge playing in the Charter Standard boy’s league at the same age level. 

The role involves working closely with the RTC Technical Director and Foundation Phase Lead to deliver the coaching, philosophy and scheme of work to the given age group. The role has three hours per week direct coaching contact with the signed fifteen female players. One hour session technical based (Thursday 5pm till 6pm) and two hours based on game development (Friday 5pm till 7pm) linked to nine a side football in the local Sunday Charter Standard boys’ league. The successful applicants will have 1-2 years’ experience working with a specific team in an elite football environment and will have at least a FA Level 2, youth modules 1 & 2, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, Emergency Aid, Basic First Aid in Sport & Safeguarding children certificates & will be an FA Licensed Coach Club member.

NCS Team Leaders - Summer 2018

We are seeking highly motivated, energetic individuals, to lead teams of sixteen and seventeen year olds through our four-week summer NCS programme. We are looking for passionate individuals with experience of working with groups of fifteen young people.

The NCS Leader is there to be a positive role model, to coach and motivate a team of up to 15 diverse young people. Your role will require you to support, stretch and maximise the learning for all the participants throughout the NCS Programme.

NCS Leaders will also support all workshop/activity leaders.

We are looking for NCS Leaders with a flexible approach, who can also commit to working with their team of 15 young people for the entire length of the four week programme. The first two weeks are residential Monday to Friday.
