The DCCT waking football team pulled off an impressive victory in the Derbyshire Walking Football League yesterday.

Coming off the back of a 6-1 defeat to the Heanor Strollers, the DCCT side stepped it up a gear as to beat the Chesterfield Bees 8-0.

A hat trick from Terry Fletcher and Man of the Match performance from Pat Piggott saw them cruise to victory and move up to fourth in the table.

Up next for DCCT is a fixture against Matlock Arc which could see them move up to second in the table.

Following the win, DCCT Coach Lee Fearnley said:

“It was a great result for the team today and I was really impressed with the quality of our passing game. Hopefully we can maintain that level of performance against Matlock next week”
